The Ten Points of the Nuremberg Code 1947

(Opinion of the I American Military Tribunal on "Permissible Medical Experiments").

🔸 The voluntary consent of the subject is absolutely necessary. This means that the subject must be capable, in the legal sense, of giving his consent; that he must be able, uninfluenced by force, fraud, trickery, pressure, pretense, or any other form of persuasion or coercion, to exercise his judgment; that he must have sufficient knowledge and understanding of the field in question in its details to be able to make an understanding and informed decision. This last condition makes it necessary that, before consent is obtained, the subject be made aware of the nature, length and purpose of the experiment, the method and means to be employed, any inconvenience or danger which may reasonably be expected, and the consequences to his or her health or person which may result from participation. The duty and responsibility to determine the value of consent is incumbent upon anyone who orders, directs or conducts the experiment. This is a personal duty and responsibility which cannot be passed on to others with impunity.

🔸 The experiment must be designed in such a way that fruitful results for the welfare of society can be expected, which cannot be obtained by other means of research or methods. By its nature, it must not be arbitrary or superfluous.

The experiment must be planned and based on the results of animal experiments and natural history knowledge of the disease or research problem in such a way that the expected results will justify the conduct of the experiment.

🔸 The experiment must be carried out in such a way that all unnecessary physical and mental suffering and harm is avoided.

No experiment may be carried out if it can be reasonably assumed from the outset that it will lead to death or permanent damage, with the exception at most of those experiments in which the experimenter also serves as the test subject.

🔸 The hazard must never exceed those limits which are set by the humanitarian significance of the problem to be solved.

🔸 Sufficient preparation and appropriate devices must be provided to protect the subject from even the slightest possibility of injury, permanent damage, or death.

🔸 The experiment may only be performed by scientifically qualified persons. The greatest skill and caution shall be required at all stages of the experiment by those conducting or performing the experiment.

🔸 During the experiment, the subject must remain free to terminate the experiment if he/she has physically or psychologically reached a point where its continuation seems impossible.

🔸 At any time during the experiment, the experimenter must be prepared to terminate the experiment if, on the basis of the good faith required of him, his special experience, and his careful judgment, he must suspect that continuation of the experiment could result in injury, permanent damage, or death to the subject

Almost half a million containers are sitting on cargo ships just floating off California's southern coast, as chaos takes hold at the Port of LA and Long Beach.

Outdated infrastructure, importers with nowhere to store containers and help on the docks are reportedly behind the delays - which have lasted for weeks already.

Some 65 ships are still stuck outside the port, as trade problems bottleneck.

What you see in this video is an electric car at a charging station with a shorting cell setting off a fire. Eventually, all the cars in that charging line were lost. Note the time it took to destroy 3 cars; just over 1 minute.

The first car was destroyed in about 38 seconds. The fire cannot be extinguished with water. No fire department will approach a burning battery-powered car because of the toxic gasses produced during the fire.

No recycling plant will take the destroyed car on account of the toxic chemicals contained in the batteries.
